Meet the team behind Valor Industrial
Experienced people delivering complex electrical projects
Industrial Electrical Expertise
for complex projects
Valor Industrial delivers electrical, automation and remote monitoring solutions for water, wastewater, utility, data centre and commercial projects across Wellington

Building the kind of company we always wanted to work for
Sucess is measured by the quality of work we deliver, the relationships we build and the trust clients place in us to get the job done right.

Built on experience. Driven by accountability.
The company was founded in 2023 and began operating in early 2024 with two people, two personal vehicles and a determination to build the kind of company we always wanted to work for. Our goal was simple: create a workplace where talented people could thrive and provide clients with direct access to experienced professionals rather than layers of management.
Delivering projects valued at more than $1 million, our growth has been driven by strong client relationships, repeat work and a reputation for tackling technically challenging projects that demand practical thinking and high levels of accountability.
Today, every member of the Valor team brings leadership experience from previous roles across infrastructure, industrial, automation and commercial electrical sectors. Unlike many larger contractors, our directors, foremen and senior electricians remain actively involved in project delivery, ensuring clients receive direct access to the people making decisions and solving problems on site.
We work directly for councils, utilities, contractors, engineers, facility managers and asset owners, while also partnering with major infrastructure organisations and multidisciplinary project teams throughout New Zealand.

Valor Industrial is focused on sustainable growth
We remain committed to supporting the councils, utilities, contractors and organisations that have helped us get to where we are, while also expanding into new industrial, manufacturing, processing and commercial sectors.
For much of our journey, we’ve been so busy delivering projects for a relatively small number of loyal clients that we’ve never needed to actively market ourselves. Now, we’re focused on sharing our story, building new relationships and introducing more organisations to what our team can deliver.
As we grow, our goal remains the same: continue building an exceptional team, continue raising the standard of our work and continue delivering the practical, high-quality solutions our clients trust us for.

Our values
Safety
Before work begins, we complete site-specific planning, risk assessments and permit requirements to ensure work can be carried out safely without compromising operational assets or personnel.
Accountability
We take ownership of our work, our communication and our commitments. Clients have direct access to the people responsible for delivering the work, meaning questions are answered quickly and responsibility isn’t passed from one person to another.
Quality
We focus on getting things right the first time and providing clients with confidence in the finished result. Projects are supported by inspection, testing, commissioning and documentation processes that ensure systems are operating as intended before handover takes place.
Collaboration
We work closely with clients, principal contractors, engineers, consultants and other trades to ensure projects run smoothly and objectives are achieved.
Practicality
We’re electricians and problem-solvers first. Our team’s experience across infrastructure, industrial and commercial sectors allows us to find practical solutions that work in the real world, not just on paper.
Meet our team
One of the biggest drivers of our success has been the people we’ve brought into the business.
We’ve deliberately added team members with specialised skills and experience that has broadened our capability and strengthened what we can offer our clients.

How we work
Early project involvement
Many of our most successful projects start long before construction begins. We regularly review scopes, drawings, specifications and project requirements during the planning stage, helping clients identify potential challenges, construction risks and opportunities for improvement before they impact programme or budget.
Whether it’s a water infrastructure upgrade, automation project, data centre installation or commercial development, early involvement allows us to contribute practical buildability advice based on real-world site experience.
Planning and coordination
Successful projects rely on good planning and strong communication. Once a project is awarded, we coordinate procurement, programming, site access requirements and labour resources while working closely with the wider project team.
Because many of our projects involve live infrastructure, operational facilities or multiple contractors, coordination is critical. We regularly work alongside civil contractors, mechanical teams, engineers, consultants and asset owners to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with project objectives.
Our size allows us to remain flexible, while our experience allows us to anticipate potential issues before they become problems.
Installation
Our approach to installation is simple: do it once and do it properly.
We place a strong emphasis on safety, workmanship and site organisation throughout delivery. Whether installing a wastewater pump station, remote monitoring system, data centre infrastructure or commercial electrical system, our team works methodically to ensure installations meet project specifications, compliance requirements and long-term operational expectations.
As a hands-on business, our directors, foremen and senior electricians remain actively involved in projects, providing direct oversight and support throughout construction.
Testing and commissioning
We believe a project is only complete when it operates exactly as intended.
Every installation is inspected, tested and verified before handover. Depending on the project, this may include electrical testing, control system verification, instrumentation calibration, automation system checks and commissioning activities alongside operators, engineers and equipment suppliers.
Our team has extensive experience commissioning infrastructure, automation, remote monitoring and critical electrical systems, ensuring clients receive assets that are fully operational and ready for service.
Documentation and handover
We understand that quality documentation is just as important as quality installation.
At project completion, we provide the required documentation and certification, including testing records, Certificates of Compliance (CoC), Records of Inspection (RoI), commissioning reports, as-built information and client-specific documentation where required.
Every client operates differently, so we adapt our handover process to suit their requirements. Where formal handover procedures exist, we work within them. Where they don’t, we help develop a practical handover package that gives clients everything they need to operate and maintain their new assets with confidence.
